Moin, ich bin Oliver, Schlagzeuger aus Hamburg mit über 30 Jahren Musikerfahrung, und suche ein Bandprojekt im Bereich Modern Rock, Alternative Rock, Nu Metal, Modern Metal oder Metalcore. Stilistisch mag ich es druckvoll, groovig, catchy und songorientiert. Grob irgendwo zwischen Linkin Park, Korn, Architects, Bring Me the Horizon, I Prevail, Breaking Benjamin, Muse, Ghost, Rise Against, Paramore, Alter Bridge oder Starset. Wichtig sind mir kompakte Songs mit klaren, funktionierenden Strukturen. Ich habe kein Interesse an ausufernden Sechs-Minuten-Stücken oder endlosen Instrumentalparts. Lieber drei bis vier Minuten mit Hook, Energie und Punktlandung. Ich suche entweder ein eigenes Projekt, das ich mitbegründen und bei dem ich Songs aktiv mitschreiben kann, oder eine gute Rock/Metal-Coverband. Wichtig ist mir musikalische Arbeit auf Augenhöhe. Ich bringe eigene Ideen mit und möchte keine Situation, in der mir fertige Schlagzeugparts vorgegeben oder für mich geschrieben werden. Proben sollten realistisch etwa einmal pro Woche oder mindestens alle zwei Wochen stattfinden. Ich suche keine reine Proberaum-Band, sondern ein Projekt mit Perspektive auf Aufnahmen und Konzerte im Raum Hamburg. Kein Pop-/Hip-Hop-/Akustikprojekt und kein Speed-, Thrash-, Black- oder Extrem-Metal. I’m into music that is powerful, groove-driven, catchy and song-oriented. Stylistically somewhere between Linkin Park, Korn, Architects, Bring Me the Horizon, I Prevail, Breaking Benjamin, Muse, Ghost, Rise Against, Paramore, Alter Bridge or Starset. I strongly prefer compact songwriting with clear, effective structures. I’m not interested in drawn-out six-minute songs or endless instrumental sections. Three to four minutes with a strong hook, energy and impact is what I’m aiming for. I’m looking either to co-found a band and actively contribute to songwriting, or to join a solid rock/metal cover band. Working on eye level is important to me. I bring my own ideas and experience and I’m not looking for a situation where drum parts are pre-written for me. Rehearsals ideally once a week or at least every two weeks. I’m not interested in a “rehearsal room only” band. The goal should be recordings and live shows in and around Hamburg. No pop, hip-hop or acoustic projects. No speed, thrash, black or extreme metal.
